Terra builds systems for people who don't get to choose their tools — hospital staff, public services, travellers on the move. This site is built the way we build those systems: to the principles of WCAG 2.2 Level AA.

Our commitment

At PT Terra Teknologi Optima, we are committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people with disabilities. We are continually improving the user experience for everyone and applying the relevant accessibility standards to our website and our software products.

Conformance status

The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) define requirements for designers and developers to improve accessibility for people with disabilities. They define three levels of conformance: Level A, Level AA and Level AAA.

PT Terra Teknologi Optima is partially conformant with WCAG 2.2 Level AA. Partially conformant means that some parts of the content do not yet fully conform to the accessibility standard. On this site, that currently means:

• Manual screen-reader reviews (NVDA and VoiceOver) are still to be completed; automated, keyboard, contrast and reflow checks are done.
• Decorative motion and illustrations are hidden from assistive technology by design.

What that means here

• Everything works from the keyboard, with a visible focus ring.
• A skip link takes you straight to the content.
• The menu works on phones.
• Motion can be paused — and never starts if your device asks for reduced motion.
• Text contrast is at least 4.5:1; controls at least 3:1.
• It works at 320 px wide and at 200 % zoom.
• Screen readers get the page structure, the language switch and the project links.
• English and Indonesian are equals.

What we are doing

To help make this website a positive place for everyone, we use the following measures to ensure accessibility:

• Integrate accessibility into our internal procurement, design and development workflows.
• Employ automated accessibility testing tools alongside manual keyboard and screen-reader reviews during our deployment cycles.
• Train our design and engineering teams on the latest WCAG criteria.
